  001.   i'm faolan and i've been roleplaying on tumblr for 10-12 years, and have been writing cyrus on and off for 9 years. i am 21+. my activity is sporadic and greatly influenced by both my inspiration and my real life. i have autism, schizophrenia, and DID, and that sometimes affects the way i interact with people. i promise i'm niceys though! i don't bite and i LOVE to talk with people (even if i am a little timid).
i don't rp with nonmutuals, but i'm not terribly selective with who i become mutuals with and i will write with literally any fandom. i don't follow for follow - if i follow you, it means i have read your rules and want to write with you! i will only write with people over the age of 20.
i do not heavily format my posts, but i do use spacing between quotation marks and occasional text coloring (no fancy fonts except for pinned post). if you need this changed for accessibility when we are writing, i will be happy to do so.  002.   this blog will have themes such as trauma, derealization, unreality, and mental health struggles. all triggers will be tagged as "[trigger] tw." i respect your boundaries and will tag anything you need me to. please do not follow if you are a minor! give it a few years, i'll still be here. live your best life. <3
i do not accept romanticization of rape, pedophilia, or incest on this blog, and i will not be including those topics in my writing for my own mental wellbeing and the safety of others. i will block if i see this done.

  003.   i ship with chemistry and will only do so with writers who are above the age of 21. that being said, i don't expect romance to occur frequently as cyrus just... isn't a very romantic person. he likes to do things on his own in his own way. i am more than open to other non-romantic bonds like friendship, familial, enemies, etc.
cyrus can seem rather standoffish at times, but the truth is that he simply has no filter and is very blunt. he's been told he's "rude" many times, but of course, he hasn't become any less frank. he also has a massive superiority/inferiority complex, so watch out. he isn't explosive, but he can be venomous and downright cruel when he wants to be.  004.   i take callouts seriously but do not accept them without extensive proof. i don't care for petty fighting and drama, please work that out that in your dms and off the dashboard. pedojacketing and scamjacketing are not okay. i will block if i see you doing this. please be a kind and critical person!

STATS.

a man of average height, cyrus still manages to intimidate with his stern expression and tense body language. he is shrouded in layers of clothing, well-suited for the cold climate of sinnoh. his big, watchful eyes are highly aware of everything at all times, and are always watching.
he is as cold and detached as he looks, appearing completely uninterested in forming human connections. he carries an icy air about him, spreading chill wherever he goes. he is not one to be taken lightly.

cyrus was born the only son of a well-off family in the sinnoh region. though he received everything else he could have dreamed of, his parents fought often and did not give him the love and attention he needed. he was forced to mature at an early age and become his parents' parent. only a child, he was expected to be perfect, and hated himself because he believed he wasn't. he was an outcast in school and often bullied in subtle ways for being unusual and withdrawn.he dreamed of reaching the stars one day and played primitive games on the family computer simulating space travel and planetary exploration. he found in this a love for machines. machine logic, though complex, was exactly that - logical. it did not make impulsive, rash decisions. it did not chide its user. he would spend hours in the settings programs alone, familiarizing himself with different operating systems. he would spend even more time taking apart and putting back together various machines and reading books on mathematics and physics. that was what made sense to him.

cyrus grew into an unhappy adult, claiming to be absolutely devoid of emotion because of how vehemently he hated it. therein lay the problem. truthfully, he was full of hatred and anger, of sadness and grief, of loneliness. he was not emotionless, he was not perfect, and he hated himself for this. he expanded the organization he formed at 15, called team galactic, to include commanders mars, jupiter, and saturn.he learned of two pokemon, palkia and dialga, that could control time and space and the stability of the entire universe. he sought to remake the universe according to his vision, a world without spirit and without strife. he ordered his commanders to capture the three legendary psychic pokemon that resided in sinnoh's three lakes in order to create a red chain that would summon palkia and dialga. however, this came with unintended consequences - as cyrus ordered them to fight, time and space distorted, ripping a hole in reality and pulling him in. what happened after that depends on what universe you're in...
